6pm PST.) The last auction went
for over $400.00, due to a massive & heated bidding war.
I keep my fingers crossed for 20 bucks each week, but the
bids go far beyond that for some reason. Of course I appreciate
the bidding, it helps keep both this site and the illwillpress.com
site going. I just kinda wish there was a way that folks could
get the iLLs they want without having to take out a loan.
I guess that's the problem with hand-made stuff. There's just
one like it and those who want it more tend to bid accordingly.
I could probably get Hot Topic to carry a generic version
of the Little iLLs, but that would kind of kill the whole
point of having them be unique. Oh well... #29 seems to hold
the record for highest price a Little iLL has sold for. (Probably
will for awhile too) Most of them go for a lot less though,
so don't get discouraged by the price tag of previous auctions.
I think this was an anomaly.

I posted 6 new iLLs in
the archive area. Awsomeness! Also from here on in, i'll try
to post at least one iLL a week on Ebay in numeric order.
So after #28, #29 will be posted and so on. On the work end
of all this, I finished up my 65th Little iLL recently. Unfortunately
comes the boring part of taking photos and doing all sorts
of photoshop resizing nonsence. SADNESS!!! Meh, it's all part
of the work I guess. But at least you know there's a ton more
iLLs that will be posted here. The owner of Little iLL #2

who need more time... take as much as you need.... for those
who bought up iLLs because they're greedy collectors and never

Welcome
my mentally disturbed friends :
This here is the first entry of the
Little iLLs blog. Since all the little ills are handmade,
it will take awhile for this site and it's community to
grow. So if you're an impatient asshole who needs to see
alot of stuff every 5 seconds, just move along. This site
is for Little iLL owners and enthusiasts.
What's
the point? Well, originally making these weird little things
was a hobby of sorts. It was just another creative downtime
for me. Eventually folks saw them and wanted one made for
themselves or their kids... and so it began. As part of
the hobby I would also take a picture of each Little iLL
in some weird area and made a one panel comic strip out
of it (which is located in the archive). Personally, I find
it fun and encourage others to do the same. Post them to
their own websites, or email them to me so I can post them
under your own Little iLL page.
Since
these are hand-made, the only way to put a price on them
is to let others do so. It's really the only fair way. Anyway.
90% of the money is going to be used to keep the illwillpress
site going, the other 10% goes back into supplies for more
little ills.
